Baptist Theology: A Critical Look |
posted by: Fairmoon (reply) post date: 06.24.05 (12:15 pm) okay so are they encouraging the use of SUVs as a way of bringing about the end of the world faster, so Jesus can get his but back here? Or discouraging their use so the world will last long enough for their kids to grow up? FM posted by: PastorDave (reply) post date: 06.25.05 (5:59 pm) I drive a 94 Geo Metro. I must say the car encourages me to stay close to God. While driving these Atlanta roads, I'm constantly praying for God's protection from the SUV's and Semis. I believe most of the giant vehicles, like SUV's, serve as a statement of status. Vehicular bragging. I'm not impressed, but I'd trade my Geo for one. | A Blog About Baptists and Their Theology |
